The Epicurean Duo was formed by MasterChef: The Professionals 2024 Finalist, George Birtwell, and Great British Menu 2024 competitor, Samira Effa – combining their expertise in fine dining to create intimate, storytelling-driven culinary experiences.

Birtwell honed his skills as Senior Sous Chef at Tommy Banks’ Michelin-starred The Black Swan at Oldstead, while Effa brings over 17 years of industry experience, including her latest tenure as Head Chef at Grantley Hall’s Bar & Restaurant EightyEight. Together, they bring bold, seasonal cooking to the table, with a deep respect for provenance and flavour.

Over the course of the evening, guests will enjoy an 8-course tasting menu inspired by and centred around the exceptional meats at Sykes House Farm. With only 24 seats available each night, these exclusive dinners offer a rare opportunity to connect with the chefs, their craft and their creative process in an immersive, interactive setting.
