This evening, we are delighted to welcome Chef Dan Graham for a truly exclusive event celebrating the exceptional quality of Sykes House Farm meats, a partnership defined by a shared devotion to Yorkshire’s world-class produce. Your journey begins with a warm regional welcome, featuring a glass of crisp, refreshing Crémant and a selection of bespoke local canapés to awaken the palate. Following a convivial toast, you will be invited to take your seats as Dan presents a seasonal menu that serves as a vibrant tribute to our landscape, highlighting hand-picked ingredients and honoring the dedicated local producers who make this region so unique. Each course will be expertly plated and served, with Dan personally sharing the stories and technical inspiration behind every dish.
Dan’s culinary path began in a small Northumberland market town before leading him through some of the most prestigious kitchens across the globe. From the French Alps to the heart of London, his career has seen him cook for royalty, global celebrities, and city executives. However, it was his time at the legendary Le Gavroche in Mayfair where his craft was truly transformed under the mentorship of the Roux family. Many will recognise Dan from his standout performance on BBC’s MasterChef: The Professionals, where he reached the final three in a life-changing experience that launched his national career.
Since moving to the foodie hub of Malton in 2013, Dan has become a cornerstone of the North Yorkshire culinary scene. After a successful tenure as Head Chef at the Talbot Hotel, he launched his bespoke venture, “At the Dinner Party,” bringing the refinement of a high-end restaurant into private settings. A respected voice in the industry, Dan also lends his expertise as a judge for the Deliciouslyorkshire Taste Awards and the British Frozen Food Federation, while remaining a regular favorite on the food festival circuit. Tonight represents the culmination of decades of international mastery, where traditional local ingredients meet the sophisticated artistry of a chef at the top of his game.
