A Perfect Partnership: Celebrating South African Wines

We’re thrilled to announce in addition to Owen’s delicious food, a special wine tasting collaboration with a truly exceptional partner, Yorkshire Vintners. Yorkshire Vintners is Ripon’s premier family-run wine merchant, sourcing and selling outstanding wines from around the world. Since 2010, they have offered an award-winning range of reds, whites, sparkling, and more, available in-store, online, and direct to trade. From everyday favourites to rare finds, we bring quality, value, and exceptional service to every bottle.

This partnership provides a unique opportunity to explore the fascinating world of South African wines. With a winemaking history spanning over 360 years, South Africa combines “New World ripeness with Old World finesse.” It’s a region that has rapidly evolved since sanctions were lifted post-apartheid, now producing wines that are both vibrant and elegant.

During the evening you will be able to sample five amazing South African wines and discover the rich heritage and exciting future of this captivating wine region. What’s more, all the wines you taste will be available for purchase on the night to drink, and to buy and take your favourites home to enjoy.
