We are proud to host Chef Steph Moon for her debut residency, bringing a world-class culinary vision to our kitchen for one night only. A Yorkshire farmer’s daughter who has commanded some of the globe’s most prestigious pass-counters, Steph arrives to share her lifelong passion for local produce and refined techniques. Alongside our in-house Chef Greg, she will present a vibrant tasting menu, narrated by the stories and seasonal inspirations behind every plate.

This evening, Chef Stephanie Moon returns to her roots for a very special collaboration with our very own development chef Greg, showcasing the superb quality of Sykes House Farm meats, a family and team Steph has known for decades.

Your evening begins with a warm Yorkshire welcome: a glass of crisp, refreshing Crémant paired with a trio of amazing local canapés to set the stage. Following a convivial toast, you’ll be invited to take your seats as the culinary journey truly begins. This seasonal menu is a true celebration of our region, highlighting hand-picked Yorkshire ingredients and honouring the local producers who make our landscape so unique. Each subsequent course will be expertly plated and served, with Steph personally describing the inspiration and the story behind these exceptional seasonal ingredients.

Chef Stephanie Moon is a Yorkshire farmer’s daughter whose culinary career has taken her from the local fields to the world’s most prestigious kitchens.

With a five-star background rooted in excellence, Steph began her journey at The Dorchester under the legendary Anton Mosimann, where she had the honor of cooking for a Royal State Banquet. Her global career includes stints in St. Moritz, Munich, Sydney, and Chicago with the renowned Charlie Trotter. A decorated chef, Steph holds a Salon Culinaire Gold Medal and the Harrogate Ambassador Award, and she previously served as the Executive Chef at Rudding Park for many years.

Now in its 15th year, Steph’s consultancy, All Things Food, allows her to support businesses across the UK and mentor the next generation of young chefs. A familiar face on BBC’s Great British Menu and Chefs Put Your Menu Where Your Mouth Is, Steph is happiest when she’s back in Yorkshire, exploring in her Sprinter camper van or sharing her lifelong philosophy: “If you are happy, things always taste better!

A unique learning space set in the middle of our working farm, Method has been designed and built specifically to educate and inform our professional catering customers on all thing’s meat.

Method is also open to foodies and families for cookery and butchery masterclasses and exclusive events featuring some of Yorkshires top chefs.

Where is Method located?

We are located just outside Wetherby, you can find instructions on how to get here, and a map on this page.

Is there free parking?

Yes, we have a large carpark for our guests. Cars can be left overnight, but are done so at owners risk.

What if I have dietary requirements?
