More information

Your afternoon/evening will begin at our bespoke maple butchers block where you’ll get the opportunity to watch one of our expert butchers break down a roasting of beef while you enjoy a welcome cocktail or a glass of Crémant whilst eating some delicious snacks inspired by steak house classics.

You’ll then move across to our Chef’s Table, where our in-house Development chef Greg will serve you lunch. As well as the premium cuts such as chateaubriand and ribeye, you’ll also try some of the lesser-known cuts and butcher’s favourites such as Denver steak, Flat Iron and Spider Steak. Each course will be accompanied by a classic steak garnish and sauce, and you’ll have the option to try some fabulous wines, expertly paired by the team at Latitude Wines in Leeds.

The steak masterclass will finish with a delicious dessert and a glass of the good stuff or an Espresso Martini.

For those who wish to drink sensibly or not drink alcohol, the masterclass includes a satisfying range of 0.0% drinks. Choose from Nooh by La Coste rosé & sparkling rosé, Asahi, Guinness, Tanqueray & tonic or maybe try the delicious range of fruit and botanical sparkling drinks from local producer, Tame and Wild.

You’ll receive detailed recipes for everything we cook on the day so you can recreate your steak-house experience for your friends and family. All the steak butchered on the day will be available for purchase in our on-site butcher’s shop or online.

Steak ‘au poivre’ – Flat-iron, Spider and Onglet steaks – green peppercorn sauce, frisee salad

Crying Tiger – Thai-inspired dry-aged sirloin

Char-grilled Cote de Boeuf and roasted Chateaubriand – a classic bearnaise sauce, perfect chips

A unique learning space set in the middle of our working farm, Method has been designed and built specifically to educate and inform our professional catering customers on all thing’s meat.

Method is also open to foodies and families for cookery and butchery masterclasses and exclusive events featuring some of Yorkshires top chefs.

We are located just outside Wetherby, you can find instructions on how to get here, and a map on this page.

Is there free parking?

Yes, we have a large carpark for our guests. Cars can be left overnight, but are done so at owners risk.

What if I have dietary requirements?
